About Us

Experienced professional music instructor specializing in Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, and Ukulele

I teach all ages and all levels from 5 years to 100, from beginners to intermediates. Lessons are designed to enable each student with the ability to play their instrument and gain a full musical knowledge including site reading, improvisation, chord voicings, harmony, etc…

I have taught at elementary schools in Sonoma Valley and at music stores in Sonoma and Santa Rosa. In Sonoma, I teach group guitar and bass lessons at Sonoma Valley Music. In Santa Rosa, I teach weekdays at Banana’s at Large.
Lesson lengths are 1/2 hour or 1 hour.

Learning to read music is a valuable skill. Once you can read music and apply it to your instrument you have the ability to communicate to other musicians all over the world. You also gain the ability to teach yourself another instrument and be able to look at any written piece of music and understand it and play it on your instrument.
