Kitty Fisher has been the Education Coordinator for the San Francisco Botanical Garden in San Francisco for the past twenty years. We offer Horticultural and Botany classes as well as Garden Tours, Walks, Botanical Art and Special Events yearly. We are located in the Sunset District in San Francisco @ 1199 - 9th Avenue, San Francisco, California. San Francisco Bay Area Students enrolled in plants studies may pay a "SPECIAL RATE" of $10.00 for some of our classes.

The Garden spreads over 55 acres that lie only 2.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, near the northern tip of the San Francisco peninsula at the Golden Gate. In this location, an ocean-moderated climate favors the growth of an enormous variety of plants. The Garden grows over 7,500 plant species from around the world. The plants are grouped by theor countries of orgin and in settings that recall their native landscapes.
